Beth Nordstrom is Partner at BDH, one of the largest interior and architectural design firms in the Twin Cities. She provides leadership and design expertise to a team of interior and technical designers focused on healthcare projects. As a LEED accredited professional, Beth has the passion and expertise required to design healthcare facilities that promote health and a and purpose when the team guides a healthcare client to a successful outcome for their clinical space - one that meets the needs of the client and all end users.
Panelist: Joel Schurke, Intep LLC
As President, and CEO of Intep, LLC, Joel provides fractional and consulting advisory services in real estate strategy, owner representation, and project management services in healthcare, sustainability, and high-tech project leadership and serves on the Advisory Board of Intep GmbH. Joel is an accomplished Real Estate & Facility Operations Executive with a wealth of leadership experience spanning real estate development, planning, design and construction, business development, and facility management in healthcare, mixed-use development, market rate housing, commercial real estate, and energy. Known for innovative market positions and a track record of success in both for-profit, academic, and non-profit organizations. Joel demonstrates hands-on expertise in steering large-scale projects through their entire lifecycle, from business startup and growth to financial analysis, strategic planning, master planning, project management, and personnel management. Joel served for 12 years as VP of Real Estate & Facility Operations at the University of Minnesota Physicians, where he managed strategic facility planning, design, construction and operations with prior roles at Park Nicollet Health Services, Ryan Companies, and architectural firms. Joel co-authored "Sustainable Design" an NCARB publication in 2001.
