Wednesday General Session - Mental Health Informed Leadership

During this session, Zach Giebler and Dr. Heidi Bausch-Ryan with CARE Counseling will speak on how mental
health and wellbeing are show up in the workplace, along with how can leaders effectively approach. They will
speak to important aspects for leaders to consider regarding the 2023 Surgeon Generals’ Workplace Mental
Health. Lastly, they will share effective strategies for promoting wellbeing within the workplace.


The Presenters
 

Zach Giebler

Zach Giebler has worked in the healthcare market as an executive for over a decade. He has served in a leadership capacity for clinics positioned as multispecialty, physical therapy, women’s health and now mental health along with some consulting ventures. He currently serves as the Senior VP of MSO Operations for Awesome MSO, and as part of the leadership team at CARE Counseling, a 10-clinic professional mental health practice in Minnesota.

Dr. Heidi Bausch-Ryan

Heidi Bausch-Ryan, Psy.D., LP, is a psychologist and the Vice President of Training at CARE Counseling. For the past nine years, Dr. Bausch-Ryan has gained clinical training and professional experience on inpatient behavioral health units, at residential substance use treatment centers, and with outpatient mental health clinics. She has conducted research as well as delivered professional training and presentations on topics such as grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, co-occurring concerns, recovery pathways, employee wellness,
leadership development, and resiliency. Prior to working in the mental health field, Dr. Heidi worked for several years in marketing and public relations. She has a continued passion to support professionals with optimizing their strengths and elevating performance through whole being wellness and intentionality.
